Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 9, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Fabereye.com (“Fabereye”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our website and services. Fabereye is operated by Mariusz Gadula Digital Services, and we are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable privacy laws in British Columbia, Canada.
1. Information We Collect
We collect personal and usage information necessary to provide and improve our services. This includes:
- OAuth Login Information: Fabereye requires users to log in via OAuth authentication (for example, using third-party providers such as Google). When you log in, we receive certain information from your OAuth provider, such as your name, email address, and a unique user identifier. We use this information to create and manage your user account on Fabereye.
- Usage Data: We automatically collect standard usage statistics through our hosting provider (Firebase Hosting). This data may include your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time spent on pages, and actions taken on the site. We also record your user account name in these usage logs. This information helps us analyze site performance, monitor usage trends, and troubleshoot issues.
We do not collect any sensitive personal data such as your financial information or social insurance number. The information collected is limited to what is necessary for user authentication and site analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Providing and Maintaining the Service: Your OAuth login information (name, email, etc.) is used to identify you and allow you to access your account. We use this information to maintain your session and provide you with the features of the Fabereye service that require authentication.
- Analytics and Improvement: Usage data (including user account names in logs) is used to analyze how our website is used. This helps us troubleshoot technical issues, improve the performance and content of our site, and understand user engagement. We use Firebase Hosting's built-in analytics and logging for this purpose. The data collected is reviewed in aggregate to make informed decisions on enhancing our services.
- Security and Fraud Prevention: Collected data, such as IP addresses and user identifiers, may be used to monitor for suspicious activity, protect against unauthorized access, and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not use your personal information for any automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Fabereye uses cookies or similar technologies as part of its operation:
- Authentication Cookies: When you log in via OAuth, we or our service providers may set cookies to maintain your login session. These cookies are essential for the website to recognize you as you navigate through pages.
- Analytics Cookies: Firebase Hosting may use cookies or similar tracking mechanisms to collect usage data (as described above). These help us gather statistics on site usage. We do not use any additional third-party analytics cookies beyond those provided by our hosting platform.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being used. However, if you disable or refuse cookies, some parts of the service (such as login and account-specific features) may not function properly.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not integrate any third-party services that independently collect or process your personal data. In other words, we do not share your information with analytics providers, advertisers, or social media companies.
However, to operate our service, we rely on certain service providers:
- OAuth Authentication Providers: When you choose to log in via OAuth (such as Google Sign-In), you will be redirected to that third-party provider to authenticate. These providers may collect data as part of the login process according to their own privacy policies. We receive only basic account information (like your name and email) from them to create your Fabereye account.
- Firebase Hosting (Google): Our website is hosted on Firebase (a service by Google). Firebase provides infrastructure and analytics. This means that your data (including personal information and usage data) is stored on Google’s servers as part of our use of their hosting service. Google, as our data processor, may have incidental access to this data for hosting and processing purposes, but they are not permitted to use it for any other purpose.
Apart from these essential services, we do not use any other third-party integrations. We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We understand the importance of keeping your personal information private. Fabereye will not share your personal information with third parties except in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: As mentioned, we use third-party service providers (such as Firebase by Google) for hosting and data storage. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency in British Columbia or Canada).
- Protection of Rights: We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, or violations of our Terms of Service.
- Business Transfers: If Fabereye (Mariusz Gadula Digital Services) is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred to the new owner as part of that transaction. We will provide notice on the website if such an event occurs and your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information and usage data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. In practice, this means we will keep your account information and usage logs while you have an active account on Fabereye and for a reasonable period thereafter.
Usage statistics collected via Firebase Hosting are generally stored in our analytics system in aggregate form. Some log data (including user account names associated with actions or events) may be retained in server logs or backups. We retain these logs to ensure the security and integrity of our service, and to comply with any legal obligations or dispute resolution needs.
7. Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the data we collect from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes using secure protocols (HTTPS) for data transmission and relying on the security features of our hosting provider (Firebase/Google) for data storage.
Please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials for Fabereye.
8. Your Rights and Choices
We value your rights regarding your personal data. However, please note the following with respect to Fabereye:
- No Deletion Mechanism: At this time, we do not provide an automated way for users to delete their account information or personal data from our system. We retain your data as described in the Data Retention section. If you wish to close your account, you may contact us (see the Contact section below), but we may retain certain information as required for our internal purposes or legal obligations.
- No Opt-Out of Analytics: Because we only use first-party analytics provided by our hosting platform to maintain and improve the service, there is currently no option to opt out of this data collection. By using Fabereye, you acknowledge and consent to the collection of usage data as described in this policy.
- Access and Correction: If you are a resident of British Columbia, Canada, or if other data protection laws apply, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask for corrections if it is inaccurate or incomplete. We will assist with such requests as required by law. Note that we will need to verify your identity before fulfilling any request to protect the privacy of our users.
If you have concerns about your data or wish to inquire about any rights not explicitly mentioned here, please contact us. Keep in mind that certain features of our service (like login and basic analytics) are mandatory for operation; the only way to fully opt out of data collection is to discontinue using Fabereye.
9. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
Fabereye is operated from British Columbia, Canada. This Privacy Policy and any related disputes are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. By using our website, you consent to the collection, use, and retention of your information in Canada as described in this policy.
Please note that if you are accessing Fabereye from outside Canada, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Canada (and potentially in other countries where our service providers operate, such as the United States). Data protection laws in these jurisdictions may differ from those in your home country. By using the service, you agree to such cross-border data transfers and processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date at the top. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
Your continued use of Fabereye after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
